Thirteen celebrities gave their all on the stage last night hoping to win over the judge’s and America’s hearts. By the end of the night, six of those celebrities were in jeopardy, and given a chance to dance for their lives.
Find out who made the cut below!
DeMarcus Ware & Lindsay Arnold

McKeon shined on night one, and tonight, she was practically walking on sunshine! The judges saw improvement from the first performance and commended her on her body contact with Chmerkovskiy.

Verdict: In Jeopardy

When asked about how she felt about last night’s performance and the judges’ critiques, Glaser said that her stand-up comedy has helped her learn to deal with criticism. She took the stage tonight as a new, confident dancer and just had fun with the entire thing. The judges believed that Glaser’s attitude was better tonight and that she looked more comfortable dancing.
SCORE: 18/30
Alexis Ren & Alan Bersten
#TeamRenTen
Verdict: In Jeopardy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoLs0L7FdpQ
Ren and Bersten were two that the judges thought did amazing night one and even received a fairly high score, yet they still found themselves in jeopardy on night two. Len Goodman couldn’t understand why this duo was in jeopardy, and the judges seemed to agree. #TeamRenTen’s performance tonight was clean and precise, and, somehow, even better than night one!
SCORE: 23/30
Evanna Lynch & Keo Motsepe
#TeamKevanna
Verdict: SAFE
Mary Lou Retton & Sasha Farber
#TeamStickIt
Verdict: In Jeopardy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGh68BVRjxw
Retton’s second routine with Farber has us officially labeling America’s Sweetheart as #GOALS after she dedicated her performance tonight to “all the moms out there!” The judges found tonight’s routine was more clean, and Retton’s placement on certain moves was also more precise.
SCORE: 21/30
Danelle Umstead & Artem Chigvintsev
#TeamBlindFaith
Verdict: In Jeopardy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9RLSAqHZns
Umstead inspired us all with her trust in Chigvintsev on night one of the season premiere, but tonight she really stepped it up. Carrie Ann Inaba even said that tonight she was impressed by Umstead’s performance, and Bruno Tonioli said he can tell that she is taking on the challenge.
SCORE: 18/30
Milo Manheim & Witney Carson
#TeamWitlo
Verdict: SAFE
After receiving great feedback from the judges, who was eliminated from the competition tonight?
After averaging all of the scores, Glaser and Savchenko were sent home. Glaser said that she had such a great time competing on the show, and she really tried her best. She also thanked the judges for having her before the show ended.
Night two consisted of solid performances across the board, but it’s safe to say there are some standout contestants this season, and even Bobby Bones agrees. Bones stated early on in the show that Tinashe and Ware are the great dancers in this season’s competition. Is he right? Tweet us your thoughts @InsideDance!
Tune in to ABC next Monday at 8/7c to see the competition for the Mirrorball Trophy continue.
