Halloween might be approaching, but the stars brought the scares early with some tricks and treats on this week’s episode! PLUS, an elimination that is beyond-belief.

Milo Manheim and Witney Carson had us shaking in our boots after their haunting contemporary performance this week! Manheim was so clearly dedicated to this performance and Len Goodman took notice. Goodman critiqued the performance by saying that Manheim’s acting skills showed in this week’s performance. Not to mention his technical skills shining throughout the entire performance. Judges scored this routine a 30/30!

This duo never disappoints in terms of entertainment. Demarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold danced a scary salsa this week that impressed! Ware continued to highlight his athleticism in this week’s routine by lifting Arnold multiple times (and then highlighting his hips with a few hip rolls). The judges had very little constructive feedback to give these two and so they received a score of 26/30.

Evanna Lynch continued to show improvement in her dancing in this week’s tango with pro-partner, Keo Motsepe. After receiving low scores last week, these two were hoping for a change of pace and with a routine as spicy as this one, that is just what they would receive! After hearing the judges’ optimistic feedback, they received a score of 29/30.

Candy isn’t the only sweet thing we saw from these two this week. The chemistry between Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten is through the roof! It was hard for us to acknowledge anything but the feelings these two so evidently have for one another, but once we looked past that, we saw a fantastic jazz performance from these two. The judges seemed to absolutely love the routine – giving it nothing but good feedback – and this team received a score of 27/30.

Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke’s musicality and rhythm is just incredible! Their jive performance on this week’s episode proves that there is no dance style Di Pace cannot master. Between the stage presence he offers and his crisp, clean movements he executes, Di Pace is a solid performer, which is part of why him and Burke received another 30/30 – their second perfect score of the season!

Each and every duo committed to their routines this week, which makes it so much harder to say goodbye to another couple. When it came time to announce the couples in jeopardy, #TeamStickIt and #TeamRenTen had their names called out. Ultimately, Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber were given the boot.
